Being HR Professional

HR Profession is full of Emotional quotient especially ,when we have to say good bye to one of our colleague who has been working with you from long time at the time of recession/layoff. Imagine you call someone in conference room and ask him/her to leave the job or you communicate that this is your last working day and you knows this person very well from each aspect personal or professional ….this is the situation where emotional quotient will work where you have to play two different roles one of Being HR Professional and Other of Being Human .One role says be professional at your work and other says how could you be professional when you knows the importance of job in the life of person as his/her whole family is dependent upon him ?Believe me when a HR professional says final goodbye to someone lots of emotions are moving in his mind and it take lot of efforts to say Goodbye . Being HR Professional you sometime loses your faith in yourself too because the word profession comes in between.
